Junior Career

Cameron competed in the M.G.A. Junior Golf Championships to begin his golfing career. He participated in the Carter Cup in 2011 (at age 15) and took first place. He persisted in the sport and in 2015 was recognized as the M.G.A. Player of the Year. Additionally, he took part in the 2014 U.S. Amateur Championship, making it as far as the quarterfinals.

Young competed in the Junior P.G.A. Championship in 2014 and came in sixth. In addition to competing individually, he was a member of the golf team at Fordham Prep. In addition, he competed for Team USA in the Junior World Cup and Junior Ryder Cup in 2014.

College Career
